Our Content Workflow

Everyone tells you to post more content. But itās easier said than done.
When I used to help my brother with his marketing (back in his PT days), Iād wait until he had a gap in his diary to get some filming done. Needless to say, the gap never came.
He was on the gym floor all day and as a result, his content took a back seat.
This is something we hear time and time again from the trainers we work with.
They WANT to post more content but when allās said and done, the thought of whipping a phone out at the end of a 12 hour day to post somethingā¦ hits harder than Miley Cyrusā wrecking ball.
āYou do not rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systemsā ā James Clear
When it comes to creating content, you need a well-oiled machine.
Something you can rely on to batch and follow a repeatable system to get sh*t done. You wouldnāt load and start up the dishwasher one plate at a time, so letās not treat content the same way.
Hereās how to build your own content workflow (exact process we use):
Step 1 - Client training
Refer to your roadmap and choose a topic to train your clients on.
Your business only exists because of the people that pay you (so donāt prioritise the people that donāt).
Create a handy resource to go alongside your training so your clients can jump off the Zoom call and implement the topic further. For example, if your training covers tips on eating out at restaurants, your resource could be a PDF guide to popular restaurant menus.
Step 2 - Repurpose the training into x3 posts.
š§ Authority - This is a piece of content that follows the PAS structure (Pain, Agitate & Solution). Donāt be afraid to shift beliefs or outline your point of view on the topic.
š Social Proof - Highlight one of your clients who has achieved success in the topic and tell their story. (Sandy always struggled to eat out, now sheās learned how to stay on track etc.)
ā 2-Step - A simple one-liner getting people to raise their hand for your resource you created for the client training. Example: āIāve just made a healthy eating out guide thatās helped Sandy stay on track without feeling boring on nights out with her friends. Want me to send it to you too?ā
š” For your Authority and Social Proof posts, include a call-to-action at the bottom for your resource too. Becauseā¦ why not?
Step 3 - Newsletter
Combine your x3 posts into a newsletter that goes out to your email list once a week.
Your authority post is the main topic of the email, then have a section for social proof and finally include the 2-step at the bottom where your audience have to reply to gain access to your resource. (We recommend using Beehiiv to write your newsletter)
Step 4 - Schedule
Schedule all of these posts across the week using a free tool like Creator Studio. Your schedule could look something like this:
Sunday: Newsletter
Monday: Authority
Wednesday: Social Proof
Friday: 2-Step
Step 5 - Set appointments in DM
Now you have all your content pointing back to a resource you can dangle in front of your prospects.
The only way for them to gain access is in DMs. So you can either send them the freebie and follow our messaging script to get a call booked. Or if they donāt seem like a good fit, politely ask them to share your post in return. Simples!
