Creating a Summer Fitness Offer

Every year, there comes a time when the sun emerges, the BBQs are dusted off and people want to look their best.
For a personal trainer, itâs like Christmas. Except⊠instead of turkey and mash, itâs new clients and cash.
But how do you leverage the sunny season and onboard lots of new clients thatâll pay you forever?
It all comes down to 3 things.
An insane offer
Fixed duration
Tasty guarantee
Letâs build you Summer offer right here, right now.
Insane offer
In the UK, the sun is out for what feels like 2 weeks. With this in mind, you want to create this offer NOW. Not tomorrow, not next week⊠now.
A lot of people have holidays booked in the next few months, and they tend to use this as the finish line when it comes to getting in shape. But donât make the mistake of going too broad or pinning all your value on the features.
Come up with something you can realistically help a client achieve and position this as your offer. For example, âSummer Shape Up: Visible Results In 28 Daysâ
Fixed Duration
This brings me onto the next ingredient: a fixed duration.
Imagine being told youâre going to drive somewhere but you have no idea where. It could take you minutes, days, weeks or even years (better fill up the tank).
Thatâs what it feels like when you promise someone a transformation without a duration. They donât know how long itâll take so they struggle to visualise the results.
Instead, attach a short time frame for achieving something tangible. This doesnât have to be the full transformation but what can you realistically achieve within 30-60 days? Lead with that as your promise.
Tasty guarantee
Risk plays a huge part in any transaction. Your client wants to feel 100% certain theyâre getting the agreed value from the money they give you.
Thatâs why itâs easier to present a guarantee that lowers the barrier to entry and gets them experiencing your offer. The obvious one is âMoney back if you donât see visible resultsâ.
You can always add conditions to the guarantee to protect yourself too. For example, clients must fill in a daily accountability report or attend all sessions in order to claim their money back if theyâre not satisfied with the results.
Merge these 3 ingredients together and youâve got yourself a sizzling Summer offer so good, Cliff Richard would probably sing about it.
But youâre probably thinking âGuys, my offer is 12 weeks! What happens once someone finishes their 30 days?â
This is where it gets coolâŠ
