How to Scale Your Gym With Ease & Be More Productive
Our Unique Way For Avoiding Burnout & Moving Faster Than Our Competition
Read time: 2 minutes
Dear Fitpreneurs,
Staying productive as your gym grows is near impossible.
Things crop up every minute and there’s only so much time in the day to put out fires.
That’s why whenever we start a new project, we run it through our DAFT model.
Do it
Automate it
Finesse it
Teach it
Here’s how it works:

NEW EPISODE
The First Steps To Launching Our New Fitness Studio
In this episode, we talk about the early steps we’re taking to get ready for the launch of our new fitness studio. We share the challenges we've faced so far and how we’re planning to fill it in less than 2 months. From organising fun and engaging events for our members to focusing on building a real sense of community, we discuss what sets our studio apart from the rest. Whether you're thinking of starting your own gym or just curious about the behind-the-scenes of launching a business, there’s plenty here for you.
In this episode you’ll learn:
How we’re preparing for our upcoming launch
Ideas for engaging our members inside the gym
How we're planning to stand out from other gyms
Our thoughts on building a fitness community
What’s next in our launch journey
#1 - Do It
Whenever you start a new task or project in the business, you first need to understand it.
That’s why we never automate stuff right off the bat.
We like to get in the weeds and experience something first before we outsource it.
An example of this is when we had our first clients join the gym, we hosted a live onboarding session at the studio.
This gave us enough time to prepare a presentation ahead of time.

Live onboarding session last year when we signed up our first members.
#2 - Automate It
After a while, we figured out what actually mattered to clients when they signed up.
Questions like, “What should I wear to sessions?” and “How do I book on the app?” came up again and again.
So we packaged everything into an automated email—triggered once someone signs up.
This also linked to a landing page where we attached more details.

We added this automated email that sent new clients to this landing page.
#3 - Finesse It
Up until recently, this is how we’ve been doing it.
But like anything in your business, there are always ways to make it better.
So we often look at our automated tasks and try to find any small margins of improvement.
For example, we’ve recently filmed a series of onboarding videos that we’ll embed on our landing page.
With these in place, the initial experience will improve and new members will feel more at ease.

We’re now going to add these onboarding videos to make the process even better!
#4 - Teach It
Finally, every task or process in your business should be taught.
I don’t mean volunteering to do lectures at your local university.
I mean you should document and log every task.
This is so you can delegate it to another member of the team or simply save it as an asset to refer to.
We have our own Playbook Vault where we outline every process (big or small) at Revamp.

These playbooks serve more than one purpose:
They help our consulting clients get proven results.
They make our business more valuable if we decided to ever sell it.

Final Words…
By using the DAFT model, you can have a proper process for ordering tasks.
Everything will become more efficient and streamlined due its origin of “doing it”.
What are some tasks you’re currently doing that you want to offload?
I’d recommend downloading this worksheet and start mapping your way out.
That’s it from us. Reply any time…
