We’re About To Launch Our Second Fitness Studio: Here’s How We’re Doing It

Dear Fitpreneurs,
We have some exciting news to share.
In 2023, we opened our first semi-private gym.
Fast forward 12 months, and we’re about to launch Revamp’s second location.
In that time, we’ve also shared our journey with over 3,000 of you.
So that’s why we’re going to show you behind-the-scenes of what we’re doing with this launch (in real-time).
Starting with today…

The New Location
First, let us introduce you to our new location: Halstead.
Like where we are currently, it’s got a lot of character and a busy high street.
There’s about 15,000 people that live there and not a lot of of competition with our model.
We also secured a cosy unit which will be perfect for a small group model.
The lease will cost us £1,100 per month with a 2 month rent-free period.
So not a huge amount of risk but plenty of potential.
We Created a Launch Plan
One advantage this time round is we have a proven blueprint to launch.
Not only that, but we’ve helped countless fitpreneurs launch their gyms in the last 12 months.
So we’ve come across every hurdle possible.
We took the entire launch plan we give clients and rejigged it to fit our 2 month timeline.

We customise a launch plan like this (including templates/copy) for our coaching clients.
Unlike last time though, we’ve given ourselves an extra week to take sales consultations.
The plan is to launch end of October and hopefully pre-sell all spots (big ask!).
We Opened the Waiting List
So that brings us to the first step of the process: the waiting list.
Last Friday, we made the announcement in various FB noticeboards.

We directed traffic to a basic opt-in page where locals could submit their info to reserve a spot for when we open.
At the time of writing this, we have had 129 people opt in.
Not a bad start.

Next Steps
We’re also delighted to bring in one of our existing coaches, Tom, to oversee operations.
This gives us extra help with appointments, hiring trainers, and contacting prospects.
So with this added fuel, we can be more aggressive with this launch.
This means running FB/IG ads from day one (to the waiting list) and doubling up on consultations.
In the next few days, we'll send lead-up letters, interview coaches, and order outdoor signage.
We’ll update you again next Sunday.
