This Simple Weekly Email Gets Us More Members

An easy way to convert warm leads already on your list.

Most studio owners overlook their email list.

They’ll spend more on ads, chase cold leads, and hand out flyers on the high street. But they ignore the warmest audience they’ve already got.

Your email list could be worth thousands if you actually show up in their inbox.

Here’s how to do that without creating extra work:

1. Get into a rhythm

Any content strategy works if it’s consistent.

We use our Weekly REPS structure on social media, and it carries over into email. The more people see you, the more they trust you. And trust is what turns followers into members.

You don’t build a brand by being invisible.

2. Repurpose last week’s posts

You don’t need fresh ideas every time.

We take three pieces of content we’ve already shared, add a line or two of context, and send them to our list.

No fluff. No 1,000 words of copy. Just value and visibility.

3. Keep it repeatable

If it’s easy, you’ll stick with it. And if you stick with it, it compounds.

Locals don’t want deep dives on “5 protein myths.” They want to see your space, your clients, and what actually happens inside your gym.

We call our weekly email the Revamp Roundup. It’s a highlight of the week. It keeps us accountable to post and gives each post a second life.

We link 3 posts from the previous week in an email

4. Always include a next step

Every email should offer a way to take action.

We include a simple link to book a consultation.

Sometimes, it’s that one transformation photo or behind-the-scenes clip that gets someone off the fence.

“A small list that wants exactly what you’re offering is better than a bigger list that isn’t committed.”

Build flywheels, not funnels

Posting content once is fine. But turning it into a weekly email that builds trust and drives action? That’s better.

That’s what we mean by creating flywheels. Systems where one effort fuels the next.

So what would your version look like?

  1. Got 3 posts from last week?

  2. Send them this Friday.

  3. And let us know how it lands.

NEW EPISODE

What We’d Do Differently After Two Big Member Events

We just ran two big member events back-to-back (Ninja Warrior and Clip ‘n Climb). In this episode, we break down exactly what worked, what didn’t, and what we’re changing next time.

You’ll learn:

  • How we budget and promote events without losing money

  • Why events boost retention (when done right)

  • The system we use to get members signed up fast

  • What to do when half your members can’t/don’t want to attend

  • How to turn events into content gold for socials

That’s it from us. Reply any time…
